The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministries of Knowledge Economy and Pharmaceutical Industry organised the First edition of the National Research Programmes Fair held on January, 31^st 2026 at Sidi Abdelah university campus.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. K. Badari, in the presence of the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro- enterprises, Mr. N. Ouadah, and the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Mr. W. Kouider.

This event aims to promote applied research by linking it to the economic development. It shows products resulting from universities, start-ups, and research centers through exhibitions, scientific workshops, and meetings between researchers and socio-economic stakeholders.



The event was structured around the promotion of research results, with the aim of transforming them into concrete solutions to market needs.

The Solar Equipment’s Development Unit (UDES/EPST CDER) took part to this exhibition through a stand displaying banners illustrating UDES' national research projects (PNR), namely:
- Development of a solar-powered hydroponic grow room at the ITELV farm.
- Solar evaporative cooler for a broiler chicken building.
- Intelligent modular ultraviolet disinfection device for water treatment.
- Design and implementation of a dust sensor to monitor the cleaning process of a solar- - powered photovoltaic parking lot equipped with a wastewater treatment plant.
- A robotic system for cleaning photovoltaic solar panels, controlled remotely via the Internet of Things.
