The Solar Equipment's Development Unit (UDES / EPST-CDER) hosted, on
Sunday.January 18th, 2026, an information day dedicated to the international research
programs LEAP-SE, ARICA 2 and PRIMA 2026.

Organised by the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development
(DGRSDT), this event was aimed at researchers and teacher-researchers with the goal of
promoting international scientific cooperation and strengthening partnerships with European
and African research institutions.

The goal of this day was to present the opportunities offered by these research and innovation
programs, particularly in terms of funding for collaborative projects, and to encourage the
development of innovative solutions to the challenges related to the
Food–Energy–Water–Ecosystem Nexus..

Detailed presentations were given on the LEAP-SE, ARICA 2, and PRIMA 2026 programs,
which are part of the Europe-Africa cooperation initiatives. The LEAP-SE program, focused
on sustainable energy, and the PRIMA program, dedicated to agri-food systems, are part of
the Horizon Europe program and they aim to strengthen research and innovation capacities
through joint projects with a strong scientific and societal impact.
