National Exhibition of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Research Products

On the occasion of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the independence of Algeria, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized, on June 28 and 29, 2022 at the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), the “National Fair for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Research Products”.
The fair was inaugurated by Mr. Benziane, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES/EPST CDER) took part in this Fair through a stand where some prototypes were exhibited as well as banners representing some of the achievements and activities of the unit's research laboratories such as:
- The continuous liquid waste treatment station by coagulation-flocculation-decantation.
- The hybrid multi-source still for the purification of waste water
- Desalination of water by solar energy
This fair was a space for exchanging experiences and knowledge through the exhibition of 150 scientific products representing the best achievements of the research laboratories of Algerian universities in the field of innovation and scientific solutions in various fields.
